This is a pretty interesting little thriller. The major problem with it is that the plot is so bloody intricate that you do spend a little bit of time trying to work out what the hell is going on at times.
We have Margot (Marie-Josee Croze) who is the murdered wife of Dr Alex Beck (Francois Cluzet). Her death had been attributed to a serial killer but Alex was always a suspect. Now suddenly Alex is acting weirdly and it is because he has received a note from Margot who asked him to watch an online security camera at a certain time of the day - so as to make it known to him that she is alive, but to Tell No One. This sends him into a complete spin and reignited the case of the murder. At the same time, two bodies are dug up and along with a key to a safety deposit box containing incriminating photos is a baseball bat with Alex's blood on it. All very intriguing.
This is allied with the fact that a group of particularly sadistic people are also looking for Margot and they are setting about to make sure that all of Alex's friend abandon him - either by causing them to mistrust him or by knocking them off. He has to do anything he can to stay out of jail and alive just so he can meet Margot at a pre-arranged time.
There are some fun chase scenes and the use of some good violence to build tension in this flick and it is well worth checking out to find out exactly why it is that Alex and Margot are the centre of attention. Cluzet does a pretty good job of making Alex's wild ride believable and Francois Berleand is good as the cop who is chasing him.
Well worth checking out.
