yum
Up very early this AM and grabbed a taxi from UNA Hotel Vittoria to Stazione de Santa Maria Novella before heading back out to Prato. From there we headed to the the Monash campus and I was really interested in a couple of talks on simulation which gave me some real food for thought on innovations that we could implement in the future.
For lunch we ducked off to a local restaurant and I had one of the best lasange that I have had in a bloody long time. Very personable host who did lots of suggestive sell too.

After the conference finished my colleague headed off to do some shopping and I went for a nap before we headed on out for the last dinner with the boss. Tonight was at Buca Mario which I have to say was my least favourite of the three meals I had organised. It was also the most expensive and some of us even had a fourth course.
After dinner I took the opportunity to go for a wander and take some photos at night. First at Piazza di Santa Maria Novella before I found the Mandarina Duck store and how cheap things are in Italy compared to Rushfaster. We then wandered up to Piazza del Duomo which was surprisingly lively for that time of night. After a few photos we jumped in a cab and headed back to the hotel to turn in.
Time for the holiday to begin properly.
