George Clooney plays Miles Massey, a millionaire lawyer and author of an unbreakable pre-nuptial agreement. His is also renowned for being able to get even the worst husbands or husbands out of their marriages without having to pay their poor suffering spouses a cent. He has just finished doing a job on Geoffrey Rush.. who busted his wife with the pool man - despite the fact that they don't have a pool.

In our key case, Rex Rexroth has just hired Massey to save him from some video-taped evidence exposing him as having an affair. His wife - of only a short time, Marilyn - is the foe and despite her beauty it becomes obvious that she is in it for the money. Massey does his work well and leave her with nothing. So Marilyn has to get him back. To tell you more might spoilt the movie.

The other twist is that Massey is falling for Marilyn - who just oozes sex appeal. Clooney and Zeta-Jones make a very impressive looking couple who can both do comedy. There are some very funny moments in this film and one with a wheezy thug is hilarious.
